PowerCon is a very advanced Windows based software tool which allows an operator to manage and monitor an unlimited number of EverFocus DVRs and network cameras. PowerCon offers multi-monitor support so the number of video monitors is only limited by the computer’s video card capacity. Currently there are video cards available which support up to 8 video displays. An operator can watch a lot of cameras from a monitoring station configured with 8 video displays.

Utilizing the PowerCon management tool makes monitoring large quantities of cameras much easier with features such as motion outline, popup window alerts, and alarms including motion detection and dry contacts. With PowerCon’s network monitoring and system checking features, the software handles mundane tasks like confirming each DVR is online and PowerCon will report when anything is out of the ordinary. With PowerCon, camera views can be custom organized, mixed and matched between DVRs as desired. The software can also be configured with map views allowing you to import floor plans which is very useful when monitoring large and or multistory buildings. When utilizing the map view, the operator immediately knows exactly where in the building the event is occurring even if the building is in a different state or country.
