CAT5 (Ethernet) cable can be used transmit video siganls over long distances when used with Video Baluns. CAT5 is easier to handle and smaller in diameter then RG59 so it can be a good choice in tricky or long run installs. Using CAT5 rather then RG59 can save cable costs but Video Baluns must be used at both ends of each video cable run.
